Sandra Mancuso Machiaverna is proud to share her light and vision, and realization of a dream, Kiryoku Training Center. Recognizing that some people need to sweat and work hard with each and every workout, while others prefer a calmer, isometric type of activity that yields similar results, she created programs to accommodate the diversity of needs, and also offers a coaching style that is highly motivating and effective to keep you going forward.
A former Director of Finance, she turned her attention towards fitness and wellness when she chose to stay home with her children after the birth of her second child. Suffering a hearing loss from auto-immune disease at the young age of 18, she was intent on protecting the rest of her hearing through exercise and stress reduction. She began studying karate with her children in 2003. This led her on a path of learning that included a second visit to Okinawa in 2008, in which she earned her 3rd degree black belt in Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate. Travelling to Okinawa sparked her interest in the longevity and wellness of the Okinawa seniors. She began to study health and wellness and she became a Certified Personal Trainer with National Academy of Sports Medicine. She continues learning from the wealth of their knowledge in helping her clients. Pursuing the connection of the mind, body, and breath, her journey led her to study with Tarra Madore at Inner Light Yoga Center. Sandra is a graduate of Inner Light Yoga Center’s 200 RYT registered through Yoga Alliance. She continues to enjoy her studies with Tarra and considers her a wonderful inspiration, and a great influence in her teaching style.
Sandra’s goal in creating Kiryoku Training Center is to provide a zen haven for people to feel their best so that they can bring out the inner strength. When the mind, body, and spirit are connected the inner light shines through. Kiryoku means Inner Strength and our journey is to bring forth the best in all of our clients. Choose to be happy… every day!
